A heartfelt awareness, an Inspired response
In Florida where I grew up, I toured many homes decorated by designers, I was amazed by
the beauty of the designs and the various architectural forms that were used. I was
determined to learn all of the necessary skills needed to turn my design ideas into reality.
From painting to constructing and fabricating window treatments, personal experience
became my primary teacher. Being able to do it all became my singular objective. I was
moving into a new home, so I had the perfect place to start, it was the first of many.

I opened my first shop in Florida where my design talent was directed to floral design.
Owning my floral business, I had the opportunity to design arrangements for hotels,
weddings, and resorts. I enjoyed the floral business but it just was not enough to
concentrate on a single exceptional or even exquisite product. I found myself visualizing in
every home I toured, including those of friends and family, what the home would look like
with a new and exiting design. Whether it's furniture placement, adding a new element
such as decor,art, or flooring; changing colors or fabrics, or altering window treatments. I
have the ability to look at almost any space and envision the end result of a new look. I
thought what a profound influence I could have on the beauty, structure and rhythm of the
created spaces in people's lives. My intense passion for design increased.

Now, In Columbia, South Carolina with the support of my husband I decided it was time to
achieve my goal. I continued my formal education in design and began my interior design
business.

When my business began all the sewing and installation I did myself, I now have a very
capable workroom to fabricate all of my sewing and a line of beautiful quality fabric's and
trims to choose from.
